Mumbai: Bollywood Barbie doll Katrina has rebuffed reports of her trying her hands in producing movies.
In an interview she said, “I am happy with acting.” Katrina Kaif said she has no plan to switch over to production field.
Katrina said she had no clue from where these rumours originated. She never gave any sign of coming into production.
Katrina said that she had no plan to produce flicks. Rubbishing all these stories, she said that those were speculation.
At present, she is enjoying success of “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (APKGB)” that is doing well.
Nothing succeeds like success. But Katrina is in no mood to rest on her laurels.
The debacle of Yuvvraaj previous year may have slowed the pace of her progress, but the stunning damsel has made up for it with two nonstop hits: New York and Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani.
Emerging as the most bankable actress in B-town, Katrina isn’t letting success go to her head. Rather, she takes every new film of her as a new challenge.
“It is like a new journey every time and hence has never got that feeling that ‘Oh, since I now have so many successful films under my name, let me take it easy’,” Katrina Kaif is quoted to have said.
Now, this Friday, ready to hit the marquee is De Dana Dan, Katrina Kaif second film with Akshay Kumar this year after her brief cameo in Blue. Lots of expectations are attached to this movie because it marks the return of the Hera Pheri jodi – Akshay, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal. Katrina is the icing on the cake.
Katrina Kaif says she did this film only because Akshay Kumar asked her to.
“I can’t turn Akshay down,” Katrina said.
