Bollywood beauty Katrina is first choice of filmmakers as her presence is enough to make a movie hit. Grapevine is that Katrina will be working in the sequel of ‘Singh Is Kinng‘.

A source added that Katrina Kaif will be part of an upcoming project to be directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. In the film, Akshay will be opposite her in the lead.

A source added that script of the forthcoming flick is set. Source added that Shah has confirmed the development.

The source added that keeping both the actors in mind, the script of the upcoming project has been penned.

With four huge releases, 2009 has been an extremely busy year for Katrina Kaif. With the promotion of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani slowing down, and the promotions of De Dana Dan slated to start soon, the actress needs a slight breather.

Katrina Kaif is hoping that she will get some time off in December therefore she can spend time with her sisters in England during Christmas.

“I have some great childhood memories of Christmas with my family. It is one of those times of the year when I really miss my family.

I love having a busy work schedule but I am just hoping that I get to take wing to England to spend some time with them,” added the pretty actress. After working so hard, we suppose she deserves to have a very Merry Christmas.

Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif is not taking rumours of her marriage with an Indore-based politician in good humour. Katrina says people must have fun, but within limits.

‘The police have previously issued a statement saying that it is total rubbish and the police are going to arrest him and serve notice. I expect they do. I agree doing it in fun is one thing but there should be a limit,’ Katrina Kaif told reporters here.

‘People should not cross the line. I will definitely support the police’ decision to penalize the person,’ she added.

The news came in effect after a marriage certificate approved by the Indore Municipal Corporation came to surface. It claimed that the 24 year old is marry to local Bharatiya Janata Party member Ramesh Mendola since December 2, 2008.

The certificate was also registered with the Indore civic body December 11 that year. The local Municipal Corporation though retaliated that the certificate was fake and a complaint will be lodged by the police.

The actress was in the capital to launch Veet’s Ready-To-Use Wax Strips. Katrina Kaif is the brand ambassador of the brand.

Katrina Kaif, who features in recently released hit ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani’, also insisted: ‘I am confident enough to know what I am speaking.’

A marriage certificate in Indore (allegedly approved by the Municipal Corporation there) suggests that Katrina is married to local BJP MLA Ramesh Mendola. It also claims that the actress married him on December 2 last year. Whereas the Indore Municipal Corporation has previously issued a statement that the marriage certificate is entirely fake and has not been issued by them, the actress is very much irritated with the news of her “marriage.”

Katrina Kaif says, “Clearly, it is a fake certificate! I have never been married in my life and neither do I know this guy at all. It is stupid and illegal what he has made and the police have previously filed a case against him. The cops called me to utter that this man had issued a fake marriage and they are taking action against him. I guess the more famous you get, the more people do such ridiculous things. I was in New York on Dec. 2 shooting for New York — the day this guy claims to have married me.”

Katrina continues, “We have all kind of crazy fans and people out there. Juhi Chawla’s staffs who now work with me tell me that even she used to face the similar thing. And after a point, she stopped clicking pictures with fans as she had no control over where they would pop up or how they would be misused. I guess we all have to be taught to handle such weird people sometimes. It is part of the life of a celebrity.”

On a positive note, Katrina Kaif has reason to smile. Her last release Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is doing good business, “The achievement of the film is really surprising. Ajab will always be one of my most special films. It is a sweet and simple film that brings a smile to my face when I saw it and I have seen it three times till now. I feel I am blessed and this is God’s special kindness to me. It is a love story between a boy and a girl. Yashji (Chopra) had explained to me the significance of doing love stories.”

Exactly Rupees 15 lakh! This is the amount reached by the actress herself. And which she apparently carried, in cash, onto Prakash Jha’s sets of Rajniti in recent times when she thought she may have to compensate the filmmaker for wasting one day’s shooting.

Katrina has had plenty of experiences of getting mobbed, but the most recent incident has left the actress a bit petrified. While promoting her forthcoming film, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani in Ahmedabad previous week, a crowd of 5,000 people gathered around her, and got a little too excitment.

A unit member, who was accompanying the actress, reveals, “More than 5,000 people turned up at the mall to catch a glimpse of Katrina Kaif. Her fans kept screaming her name and a few of them were almost on the brink of pouncing on her. She even hurt her leg in the chaos.”

That wasn’t the end of it though. The unit member added, “A crowd of fans got on their bikes and followed Katrina Kaif right up to her hotel.” This left the actress with no other option but to comply with their wishes. “Katrina Kaif has to sign their CDs and even pose for pictures along with them,” added the unit member.

When contacted to comment on the incident, Katrina Kaif added, “I would not like to upset my well wishers by means of throwing tantrums.”
