The team of Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani is leaving no stone unturned to encourage their forthcoming romantic comedy, releasing this Friday. The cast and director were at a local radio station in Mumbai for the promotion of the film, where they spoke regarding the chance of a sequel.

“I had written a serious love story and I wanted to make a romantic story and they made it into a comedy. I have no intentions of making it a comedy, and they made it into one. It is the truth,” joked by the director Raj Kumar Santoshi.

Going by the promos, the film seems like quite a laugh riot, taking into consideration it’s coming from a man who made Andaz Apna Apna, and Katrina Kaif already has post victory plans in place.

“If by gods grace “Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani” is a hit then I have made a promise that I will go to two cinema halls, in Mumbai and give out vanilla ice-cream to people watching the movie,” added Katrina Kaif.

“The reason being, when Prem (played by Ranbir Kapoor) sees Jenny (played by Katrina Kaif) for the very first time he calls her vanilla ice-cream,” clarified Ranbir kapoor.

And there are also talks of a sequel if the film does well.

“If Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani is a hit inshallah (god willing), we will make the second part of it. But the sequel’s title will be Ajab Jenny Ki Gazab Kahani,” said Katrina Kaif.

Well, here’s hoping that for now part one gets a excellent opening when the film hits the screen this Friday.
