So, rumours are abuzz that Katrina is calling all the producers and directors from her contact list to consider her for their next projects. Is Salman Khan not worried about her career?

Media reports even pass on that Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ apparently has Sonam Kapoor; the role which can have been Kat’s as Akki is the hero. Actually, Akshay Kumar, who has delivered a series of successful movies with Katrina, most probably wants to be seen opposite fresh faces.

For Katrina, 2009 was an eventful one: she tasted success with new actors like Ranbir Kapoor but her film with Akki unsuccessful at the box office.

Let’s hope 2010 brings a few good movies for her.

Katrina Kaif’s taking it easy this year because of health reasons. But what the actress would have cherished to do is take a break and travel

A friend of the Katrina says, “Katz loves exploring different places. She loves collecting souvenirs that remind her of that place. And more than the night life or partying she is interested in knowing the customs and tradition of the place that Katz goes to.”

Unluckily for the actress, her recent health trouble has acted as a dampner on her travel plans.

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is very much daunted with Twilight star Robert Pattinson that she can’t stop thinking about him.

And if all goes well, she will be meeting him in her annual holiday with her family in London.

“You don’t understand. This is like an obsession for me. I can’t get Pattinson out of my head. I have never felt this way about any man before,” Katrina Kaif said.

“I went and bought all the 4 books — Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I couldn’t put them down. I have been racing through the adventures of the hottest vampire, Edward Cullen, for the last one week. I finished reading 3 of the Twilight books in less than 4 days. Now I’m into the fourth. I just can’t get enough of him,” she said.

Katrina, who is rumoured to have parted ways with longtime boyfriend Salman Khan, now, plans to meet Robert Pattinson. Her representatives are in touch with the latest Hollywood heartthrob.

“Obviously I can’t stand under his window to get his attention. So yes, the meeting has to be more formal. He says he is single, but I don’t believe him. That’s what they all say,” she said.

Robert Pattinson had recently denied dating co-star Kristen Stewart.

The healing process after her surgery last week is yet not even half-complete. But Katrina, recovering quietly from surgery at her Mumbai home, stubbornly she decided to go and join her family in London for the Christmas-New Year vacation, which she had promised herself for months now.

Katrina flew out of Mumbai early wednesday morning after getting a reluctant go-ahead from her doctors at Breach Candy hospital.

Wincing in pain Katrina said a few hours before departure, “The pain will remain for a while. But the process of healing is on. I got my doctor’s consent in Mumbai and I have another doctor in London who is fully aware of my condition. The doctors said the pain would be the same in Mumbai or London. And as long as I am very careful about not exerting myself I’ll be fine. So I’m off.”

Katrina Kaif had gone into a depression earlier during the week when she felt she would not be able to join her sisters and brother in London because of her medical condition. On Tuesday after visiting the doctor Katrina Kaif and her mother took a decision.

Katrina Kaif said, “I can’t exert myself, can’t dance around or be boisterous. But that’s okay. Because our family is in any case not the dancing type. I just want to be with my sister’s little boy take him to the toy stores in London and buy him everything he wants.”

Katrina will returns to Mumbai in the first week of January, hopefully fully healed. “Luckily I have a doctor in London who knows how to look after me. So basically I am just moving into a happier state of mind by being close to the people I love. That would help me heal quicker. Wish me luck.”

Genelia D’Souza and the makers of ‘Big Switch’ hoped to add more glam by roping in Katrina for their slum clean-up drive.

But sick Katrina opted out! Katrina is unwell and switched off her mobile as well. Kat’s poor health had kept them on tenterhooks, but she hadn’t called it off till the last moment.

Kat’s manager told the show organizers that she was off on the last day. So it came to a few small time celebrities like Narayani Shastri and Shonali Nagrani who were thought of as last moment fillers and drafted in. Previously John Abraham too has been on the show once he helped out one contestant Natasha Suri as well.

Katrina has had three big hits in 2009. A track record that none of her peers can begin to equal in these times of creative and box-office recession. That isn’t all. But the girl remains grounded, so much so that she refuses to budge from her abode in a bustling part of Mumbai. “I know I’ve been reading about relocating my home. I admit I have looked at a few properties. But nothing seriously. Though it’s a little noisy on my street I’m too attached to the place I stay in. I’m also too lazy to make a move. Yes I’ll need a bigger place as soon as my sister Isabelle joins me. But right now she’s studying acting in the US. There is still time,” yawns Bollywood’s hottest and sexiest actress.

So is she scheduling to move home? “Not at all, I have always wanted a home by the sea. But I love my current home too much. So no plans of moving.”

“It’s very sweet of directors to bring up my name in forthcoming projects. I feel privileged. But I haven’t said yes to anything new. At the moment I have cut my workload by half as of my ill health.”

As for being selected one of Asia’s sexiest women by Eastern Eye Katrina laughs, “Me? Hot and sexy? Nah. People must see me at home. I am painfully unglamorous. Just another working girl making a living”.

Mumbai: Post a minor surgical procedure Katrina underwent at Breach Candy –attributed to her low hemoglobin levels — the beautiful actress is on a break now to recuperate.

Though Katrina herself was unavailable for comment as she’s been advised complete bed rest for a while, her spokesperson issued a statement: “Katrina has just been discharged from Breach Candy hospital and she is completely fine.

Because of the low hemoglobin levels in her system, she had to experience a small surgical procedure. It is done with now and she is resting at home after which she will take off for her annual Christmas break.”

There are a few reports that Salman Khan was present at Breach Candy when Katrina was getting operated. None of her friends or co-stars made their presence felt. Rumour mills are agog with speculation about the nature of the ’surgical procedure’.

A lady who said she was the medical director of Breach Candy said, “We can’t divulge details about our patients to anyone. She has gone through a minor surgery, the details of which can’t be disclosed. But she is fine now.”

Bollywod actress Katrina kaif is not keeping well for a very long time. She had to be admitted in Braech Candy hospital after she complained of severe pain in the stomach today. She is supposed to be operated for appendix.

This year otherwise has been good for katrina with several hits to her kitty including “De dana Dan“  ,”New York” and recently “Ajab Prem Ki ghajab Kahani‘

Katrina Kaif has been chosen the sexiest Asian in the world for the second time by the UK’s magazine Eastern Eye leaving behind Priyanka Chopra, Freida Pinto, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

She’s also been in the news for her budding “friendship’ with Ajab Prem Ki ghajab Kahani and ‘ Rajniti ‘co-star Ranbir kapoor. So far they have been denying this to be anything special.

Katrina Kaif adds one more feather in her cap. Katrina is voted the sexiest Asian woman by the UK’s prestigious Eastern Eye Magazine. It is her 2nd time win for the title and Katrina was crowned Sexiest Asian Woman in 2008 for the first time.

UK’s Eastern Eye Magazine comes with a list of 50 sexiest women worldwide. The same magazine enlisted Katrina the same title last year and Kat sticks to her position a year later. The consecutive two years win is surely a reason to rejoice for Katrina, but the competition was not easy.

Katrina had a tough contest with other Bollywood and regional actresses, former beauty pageant holders and models, singers and socialites etc. Katrina ranked #1 to beat Priyanka Chopra at the 2nd position and some more like Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Aishwarya Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.

Other than Katrina, there are seven more Bollywood queens in the Top 10 list of sexy women. The other 2 non-Indians in the top 10 list are British television star Laila Rouass and Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat.
