Australian TV Vet Dr. Katrina Warren, well-known as the host of the Animal Planet series House Cat House Calls, stars in the newest TV commercial for Animals Asia, which highlights the plight of the 1000s of bears all over Asia that live a life of torture on bear farms.

The 30-second TV commercial celebrates the days of Franzi, a resident bear in Animals Asia’s rehabilitation facility, who lately passed away.

The commercial uses animation to cope with the fairly gruesome plight of the Asian moon bears, which are frequently kept locked in tiny cages for their entire lifetime, while bile farmers strip them of their bile.
