Katrina Kaif will be performing on the eve of  new year at a Mumbai five star hotel and if the sources are to be believed she will be charging whooping Rs.2 crore for the half an hour performance.

She will be paid almost twice of what she was offered last year to perform on New Year’s Eve at the J W Marriott. The star’s value was Rs 1 crore to usher in 2009. But due to the 26/11 terrorist attacks, the entire celebrations in the city were cancelled.

However this year she will perform and for the 30 minutes performance she will be paid Rs. 6, 66,666 per minute. By doing so Katrina Kaif has left behind Bipasha Basu and Mallika Sherawat.

Katrina Kaif had Last year scored over Bipasha Basu and Mallika Sherawat who have also performed at the same place.

While Mallika made Rs 50 lakh to welcome 2007 whereas Bipasha got Rs. 90 lakh to usher in 2008.  Source say Katrina Kaif will perform solo in the countdown to 2010. She will dance to most popular tracks from her own films. Though Katrina Kaif herself is maintaining silence by saying, “Nothing is confirmed about December 31 yet.”

But the source insists that the hotel is by now making arrangements for her live act. They are touting it as a very special show and their biggest draw for the December 31 night

Apart from Katrina’s act, the hotel will also have 10 party zones which will be accessible for an all-access entry ticket for Rs.10,500 per head for the early birds (till November 30) and Rs.12,000 per head from December 1 onwards.
